SSC GD Constable Recruitment

Staff Selection Commission will be recruiting candidates for the General Duty Constable. The candidates who’ll clear the SSC GD Constable Cut-Off will get posted to one of the following organizations:

  • Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF)

  • Border Security Force(BSF)

  • Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB)

  • National Investigation Agency (NIA)

  • Secretariat Security Force (SSF)

  • Indo Tibetan Border Police (ITBP)

  • Assam Rifles(AR)

  • Central Industrial Security Force (CISF)


All of the organizations described above are highly prestigious and working for them will be a dream come true for many. This year SSC has announced  54,953 vacancies for the same. The selection process will include a written examination, physical test and a medical test. The SSC GD Constable Result of each stage will be announced a few weeks after the assessment. The candidates who’ll be appearing in the exam should prepare well and not let go-off of this opportunity. The exam is expected to be conducted in mid-August. Selection Process for SSC GD Constable Recruitment

The selection process for SSC GD Constable will include three stages that are:

  1. Physical Standard Test/Physical Measurement Test

  2. Written Examination

  3. Medical Examination

Exam Pattern for SSC GD Constable Written Exam

The exam will have four sections. The duration of the exam will remain 120 minutes. Every question will carry 1 mark and 0.25 marks will be deducted for every wrong answer. The exam can be attempted in either Hindi or English(bilingual). The detail of the sections is as follows:
